Here’s what my clients, and candidates, say about me.
I understand “culture” and “fit.” I can “connect the dots” for a client and candidate. And, that I understand what makes individuals successful.
My clients will also tell you that I’m a good partner, transparent in my approach and that I don’t shy away from tough conversations.
Many of my clients give me their most challenging leaders to work with–because I understand how to best partner with them to achieve a result that satisfies everyone.
Why I love coaching.
We all have stories, and in healthcare, they’re incredible. It’s the doctor, or nurse, who lost a sibling as a child. It’s the scientist whose legacy is to gene edit to eradicate cancer. It’s a mission driven environment. Everyone knows their “why” and its these stories that most often inspire me.
Coaching is an extension of what I’ve been doing for years. My clients connect with me because I’m not afraid to be vulnerable. People feel safe talking to me.
Trust and confidence.
When I’ve gone through an executive search with a candidate–I learn so much about them, their families, and their lives. After all, my business is built on trust and confidentiality.
I’m always proud to make a difference in a candidate’s life, as well as to help a client secure a strong, effective leader.
And the highest compliment I’ve received–multiple times–is that I’ve helped people on both sides of the fence. My candidates become my clients and I’m grateful for this testament to my honesty and counsel.
My focus as an executive coach.
I’m eager to continue to leverage my expertise within healthcare. Additional experience includes my work with the biotech and technology industries. I especially enjoy witnessing how technology is being leveraged as healthcare moves into a digital era. Most importantly, I believe the workplace should be a psychologically safe and inclusive environment for all, celebrating diversity in all forms.
I also love the startup world, where first time CEOs require support and guidance as they step into their first C-suite role, especially after a successful career at a large multinational, whereby they likely enjoyed a different level of support.
The Future Marketplace.
Industries have changed forever due to the pandemic. A new, broad set of skills is required for executives to succeed. Leaders are stretched–yet they need to call upon even greater empathy, creativity, and resourcefulness–in leading teams no longer bound by bricks and mortar. Each, and every, employee has been affected–in their own way–and it’s up to the leader to promote a robust culture while driving the organization forward.
I also believe the executive search industry is forever changed due to Covid-19.
Prior to a worldwide pandemic, the industry was an already changing landscape. 2020 has seen some sectors flourish, while others were forced to downsize. Hospitals and healthcare systems are in flux due to many elective surgeries being cancelled, a situation that drastically affects the bottom line. On the other hand, technology is flourishing, and digital health is finally gaining its rightful place in the market.
What makes us a good fit?
You aspire to become more aware as a leader. Or deepen your emotional intelligence. You understand that building upon soft skills will enhance your leadership abilities, or perhaps you’re looking to step up to the next level and would appreciate guidance.
You are ready to bring your whole self, authentic, imperfect, and open to receive the counsel you need to realize your goals.
Ultimately, you want to be the best version of yourself.
